DanzRadar

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

DanzRadar helps users, schools, organizers and dance lovers discover dance activities near them. This policy explains which data we process, why we process it, how long we keep it and which choices are available to you.

1. Data we collect

2. Why we use data

3. Legal basis

We process data when it is necessary to provide the requested service, comply with legal obligations, protect DanzRadar and users from abuse, or based on your consent, for example for location, notifications and marketing communications where required by law.

4. Content visible to other users

Approved activities may publicly show the activity name, description, images, dates, city, address, approximate or precise coordinates, contacts provided by the manager and organizer name. Do not publish personal data belonging to third parties unless you have the right or authorization to do so.

5. Sharing with third parties

We use technical providers to operate DanzRadar, such as hosting, database, email delivery, push notifications, app distribution and in-app payments through Apple or Google. These providers process data only to deliver the services needed by the app.

6. Location and notifications

You can manage location access and notifications from your device settings. If you disable location, DanzRadar may continue to work using the city, region or country set in your profile, but result accuracy may decrease.

7. Offline cache

To make the app more stable even without a network connection, DanzRadar may store the latest loaded data locally on your device, such as profile, favorites and recent activities. The cache is deleted when you log out, delete your account or sign in with another user on the same device.

8. Marketing communications

Marketing communications are separate from service communications. You can choose whether to receive them and you can withdraw consent from the app settings or by writing to info@danzradar.com.

9. Retention

We keep data while your account is active or while it is needed for security, legal obligations, support, moderation and proper service operation. Some technical or historical data may be kept in limited form for audits and abuse prevention.

10. Account deactivation and deletion

You can temporarily deactivate your account or request permanent deletion from the Account Management section of the app. If you delete your account, we remove or make no longer attributable to you the personal data that is not needed, except data we must keep for law, security, fraud prevention, accounting or dispute management. Backup copies may require technical deletion time.

If you are a manager and have active activities, before deletion those activities may be moved to review, disabled or reassigned by an administrator to avoid unattended content.

11. Your rights

You can ask us for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal data by writing to info@danzradar.com. You can also edit many data points directly from your profile. We will respond according to the timing required by applicable law.

12. International transfers

DanzRadar may use providers with infrastructure or companies located outside your country. When this happens, we adopt reasonable measures to protect data according to applicable law.

13. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect data, including authentication, access controls, credential protection and security logs. However, no system is completely free from risk.

14. Minors

DanzRadar is not intended for young children. If you are a minor, use the app only if allowed by the laws of your country and, when required, with the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a minor has provided data without authorization, contact us and we will evaluate data removal.

15. Changes

We may update this policy when the app, laws or providers evolve. The updated version will be published on this page.
